After a week of heavy rain a 57-degree day with full sun sent us to see if a favorite small pond was replenished. Thankfully, it’s completely full so a 5-weight was pieced together. The sun-warmed surface was 50-degrees while 3 feet down it was but 46 degrees.s Scattered bluegills were holding at 2 feet over shallow flat and several were brought to had and released in an hour of casting a white/silver Mini Minnie.
