While float tubing a large, sun-drenched pond this week, I jump-started the slow fishing action with full-sinking line and a 3-fly cast. Two woolly buggers (1 light, 1 dark) and a black Bass Bully as the dropper were kick-trolled along the face of the dam. The first pass produced a 16-inch largemouth bass. Subsequent trolls brought 5 more to the net between 12 and 15 inches and an 11-inch crappie. The bass all hit the dropper while the crappie hit the light-colored woolly bugger. Sooooo much fun!
