The Mid-South (and a lot of other places) have experienced flooding in the last 2 weeks. Ponds are muddy from runoff. The warmth and sunshine are great, it’s spawning time, and you’re ready to go fishing but the water isn’t in good shape. Try a fly that creates a surface commotion or a pattern with a bulky head that “pushes” more water than a plain streamer. The bass will use their lateral line to find your fly–and then the fun begins!
