We finally got a bit of warmth, but (no surprise) it’s very windy. Seven-weights coped with the wind but the bass had lockjaw. A switch to yellow Bully’s Bluegill Spiders located bluegills at 4 feet near brush piles. A 9 1/4-inch Redear Sunfish put a deep bend even in the 7-weight. More cold is in the forecast but fishing conditions are slowly improving.
